Up-and-coming local actor, Luke de Woolfson, landed himself a role in the sitcom 'The House that Jack Built' earlier this year. Luke played the youngest son of 'Maxine Squire', played by former EastEnders star Gillian Taylforth, and her husband Jack, who was played by 60's pop star Adam Faith. The family-focused sitcom was aired in a prime time slot on BBC1 in July 2002, and could be said to be Luke's first major role.
However, this was not Luke's first step into the limelight. He first appeared on TV back in 1999 when he was featured in a One2One commercial. Since then he has starred in the Film Four movie Late Night Shopping, directed by Saul Metz stein, and the teen movie Large, directed by Justin Edgar. More recently, he has played roles in a Midsomer Murders programme, starring next to former Bergerac actor John Nettles, and also in Comedy Lab.
