Best selling author, Elizabeth George has chosen Guernsey as the setting for her latest Inspector Lynley books.
Whether or not it will be chosen to become part of the BBC1 series is unknown at this time but it would be great for the Island if that were to happen and Guernsey was used in the shoot.
Guernsey Film Commissioner, Tony Brassell commented: "If the BBC were to shoot this story, as part of the Inspector Lynley series, in the Island, it would be a great promotional piece for Guernsey and could lead to an increase in visitor numbers if the Island was shown in a good light."
